Paula Dominy
Neuromuscular Massage Therapist, MT, NMT, NCBTMB
Paula is originally from New Hampshire and began studying natural health modalities in 1977 when she entered The Swedish Institute for Massage and Oriental Studies in New York, NY after attending Adelphi University as a dance major and moving to NYC to join a dance company. Over the next 2 years along with her massage studies and a 3-month course in Kinacu, she studied Touch For Health with Herbert Oliver at The River Flows, attended Nutritional Seminars with Gary and Steve Null at The Fertile Earth Farm, studied Massage to Music with Kay Ortman in Loma Linda, CA and studied at the School of Naturopathy with Dr. James D’Adamo Sr. on Staten Island.
After receiving her Massage License in 1979 Paula moved to Georgia where she became certified in Neuromuscular Therapy with Paul St. John of The Institute for Natural Health and co-founded The Neuromuscular Center of Atlanta with Jim Gabriel who went on to found the ASHA massage school. Over the years she has practiced massage at various Chiropractic Offices and Spas and joined the La Vie team in 2007.
When Paula is not doing massages she works as a professional dance instructor specializing in Ballet, Tap, Jazz and Ballroom Dance and is the Owner/Director of Dominy School of the Performing Arts, Inc.
